    SPECIFICATIONS OF THE DIRECT ROTARY DRILLING RIG

           HAVING 1200’ To 2000 ’ DILLING CAPACITY

01              RIG:

Direct rotary drilling rig will be mounted on suitable Ashok  Leyland TATA Truck chassis 6 * 2 (Six wheels) complete with Driver's cab. Two wheel  drive provided by the disel engine of the truck chasis for operation and transportation along with the following equipment specification.

02              MAST :

              The mast of the ring will be of all steel tubular welded constructions permitting about 9 to 10 metes clearance between the rotary table and the of the sheaves. The heavy duty ‘C’ class pipes (3”,2”,1 ½’) for the manufacture of the mast should be used for talking the safe load for lowering the assembly for 300 m deep tube well.The mast would be salf supporting in operating position.The mast raising and lowering would have hydraulic system.

03              MAST LIFTING :

              Two nos. hydraulic jacks will be provided for rising and lowering of the mast in order to have smooth lifting arrangement.The power for rising and lowering of the mast will be derived from a suitable hydraulic pump fitted exclusively for the purpose.

04              CAPACITY :

              The rated capacity of the rig will have capacity to drill holes of 27” dia to 24” dia. Upto 1200’ below the ground level alluvial solls.

05              POWER:

              The ring will be operated with the same engine of about 160 HP fifted on to the truck chassis through a specially designed gear box.

06              HYDRAULIC PUMP:

                                           A suitable hydraulic pump should be provided on the Rig to supply sufficient power for operation of raising and lowering of (mast and leveling jacks).

The power for the hydraulic pump should be driven from the main engine of chassis.
