on each drum. The draw works shaft will be made of nickel chome alloy steel and
mounted on spherical roller or ball bearings. The draw works will be driven
through 6 speed (five forword and one reverse) transmission.

kelley
The Kelley will be of heavy duty
telescopic steel construction specially designed to give smooth and trouble
free performance, inner wash pipe will be made of 150mm dea heavy duty seamless
pipes having minimum 8.00 mm wall thickness. The size of outer and inner Kelley
will be 300 mm and 200 mm nominal bore. The Kelley will be provided with a
specilly designed water swivel with stuffing box to stop all the suction
leakage and there by increasing the dilling progress. The capacity of the water
swivel will be such that if can handle the weight of 1200 of dill pipes.
13 POWER
TAKE OFF
A suitable power take-off arrangement will be
provided for the rig unit to drive power from the truck engine through main
clutch and transmission of the truck. Power tahe-off will of enclosed design
will be of enclosed design with mud shield. All the shafts will be made of
nickel chrome alloy steel and mounted on heavy duty ball bearings. Power input
and output shafts will be of adequate size to transmit mower with the help of standard
flange coupling. The power take-off will be provided with three positions
locking type operating handles i.e truck, neutral and rig unit.
14 CONTROLS
All the control levers
including that of hydraulic systems will be grouped at driller’s position for
easy and efficient operation of the rig. All
valves should be operated with the help of hydraulic cylinders with control
near drillers position.
15 TRANSMISSION
GEAR BOX
2 NOS. Transmission gear boxes of
reputed make preferably ashok Leyland having 6 speeds-(five forword and one
reverse) transmission will be provided one for the rotary table and second for
the draw works.
